Thee Arcane Studio is an art studio based in Nashville, TN, specializing in transforming leather and denim jackets into one-of-a-kind, wearable rock art. Inspired by her passion for metal music, Tolkien, and fantasy literature, resident artist Karolina Wojtynski's intricate, hand-painted pieces bring to life iconic album art in a unique way. Karolina's fantasy, rock and metal masterpieces are truly a collaboration between her and her clients from the first point of contact to the finished creation.

Custom leather art by Thee Arcane Studio to celebrate Iron Maiden’s icon self-titled metal masterpiece. Iron Maiden’s influential debut album, Iron Maiden (1980), burst onto the scene with raw energy, blistering guitar work, and galloping rhythms that defined the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. With Paul Di’Anno’s gritty vocals and Steve Harris’s intricate basslines, the album delivered classics like Phantom of the Opera, Running Free, and Iron Maiden. Its mix of punk attitude and progressive complexity set the stage for the band’s future dominance, cementing their place as metal pioneers. RIP Paul. You will be missed.

This custom leather vest, commissioned by Ryan, is a custom, hand-painted hybrid of Ace Frehley's iconic 1978 solo album cover art and the shirt worn by Alice Cooper on his '89 breakthrough album, 'Trash.' 'Sympathy for the Devil' Custom Denim 'Cut'

Hand-painted, sleeveless denim ‘cut’ inspired by vintage MCCs of the '60s and '70s. "Cuts" or "kuttes" serve as a sort of uniform or “colors” for motorcycle club members. This design was inspired by the Hells Angels of Altamont, who infamously served as the de facto security during the 1969 Altamont Free Concert—a chaotic event that spiraled into violence, culminating in the fatal stabbing of a concertgoer. It and forever linking biker culture with the darker undercurrents of the counterculture era.

From Cambridge, Ontario, Karolina’s artistic journey began with formal training in fine art at Mohawk College, Brantford. She later honed her skills in special effects, prosthetics, fashion makeup, and theatrical design at Complexions College in Toronto.
A lifelong lover of ‘70s glam, rock, and hair metal, Karolina drew inspiration from legendary bands like Iron Maiden, KISS, The Runaways, and The New York Dolls. As a child, she meticulously sketched iconic album covers, creating perfect reproductions for friends to hang on their walls. This passion evolved into hand-painting denim and leather jackets—an art form she continues to master.
With an impeccable eye for detail and a deep love for music and fantasy, Karolina spent years touring the convention circuit as a professional cosplayer. Her talent led to a prestigious role as Blizzard Entertainment’s official portrayal of Ashe from Overwatch.
Now a Nashville resident since 2020, Karolina is a professional seamstress, artist, and an avid vinyl collector, boasting a collection of over 10,000 original U.S. and Japanese hard rock and heavy metal pressings. She views commissioned artwork as a true collaboration, working closely with clients from concept to completion to bring their visions to life.
